Time is slipping away from me! I've fallen behind on the blogging, so I'm combining week 25 and 27 together. I at least took a picture at each week, but just didn't write the blog :)
Wow, so many things to update on in the past month. Overall, I am still doing very well. Obviously having some growing pains and many things that make me call all my mom friends to ask if I'm normal or not! Other than the growing belly, I've had one more doctors appointment since my last post. I'd like to say that appointment went very smoothly....but it was one of my first pregnancy break down moments. It was the dreaded "glucose test" appointment. To make a very long story short, my blood was never taken after drinking that sugary thing, partly due to my own inability to speak up but mostly due to a forgetful staff at my OB office :( The good news is that I don't have to drink the sugar drink again, just get my blood taken next time to test my sugar levels. Disaster avoided!
I recently just had my first baby shower as well. My fabulous friends from Oklahoma hosted a BEAUTIFUL shower for me this past weekend, but I'll post those pictures in a separate blog. Thank you so much to the hostesses and my family/friends that came, it was so great to see everyone.
From here on out, I will see my OB every two weeks. It is absolutely crazy that I will start the 3rd trimester next week. I don't know where this "nine" months is going! Josh and I are also looking forward to our birthing classes that are coming up in the next couple of months. Busy Busy time, but we're getting more and more excited everyday.
OK - the last BIG news - we have finalized the name!!!! Our daughter will be named Ellie Grace Durst!!
